MkII Rescue helmet

Here I have MkII Rescue helmet. The helmet I am unable to see the manufacturer code but can see the faint outline of either an R or a B and a date mark of either 38 or 39. The liner is manufactured J.C.S &W Ltd with the date stamp only being half present so either 1938 or 1939. The name J Roper is painted on the inside of the helmet. J Roper is also scratched into the paint under the brow with the following words 'Dursley 67 FAP'. FAP (first aid party) Dursley which I googled came up as a place in Prescott by Whiston in the north west. Thanks for looking guys
