Hi Taka some very nice recent acquisitions there I really like the 1942 dated C.L./C. steel lot 80 shows some nice ghosting from were the net has been resting on it for eons.
I do feel though from your images that the 42 C.L./C. LOT # 97 is very probably a post war refurb the color looks to be one of the two shades of OD green adopted by the Canadian military in the early 1950's as it appears to have been resprayed as you well know the Mk II had a long service life being used well into the 1960's a nice helmet all the same and every good Canadian steel collection needs at least one good example.

    Regards Mark

    Hi Mark,

    Thank you for looking.
I was thinking about the Lot 97 that might be a repainted example, too. Based on the pittings.
There are also few more helmets to be posted, Iwill post them when time permits.

    Cheers!
    Taka
