Nice - maybe the chinstrap rivets have been replaced? ( I haven't seen the split type before )
A few days back on another thread a member asked about the "stacking ring" mark - this is a good example of how that happens & what it looks like......

I think this split type are an early production (1940)
But expert opinions are welcome...
