What is considered a normal price for the british tanker helmets that are made of compressed fibre and have the forehead thingy, if you know what i mean :P
There is one at a local surplus for $200 CAD, without the electronics.
Here is a pic of the same type of helmet im talking about.

Hi,
The one that you've shown happens to be mine & is the British type, the Canadians also had there own one as well.
If it's got the scrum which is the leather that holds the ear pieces in & is in good condition I've seen them for sale for £195+, but I think that price is a bit optomistic.
£125 would be a fair price, but if it's just the helmet without the scrum then £65-£75.

If I may hijack this thread, how much do you guys think a canadian steel mkII lid (without the liner, original paint, no decals) would be worth ?

Can't remember ever seeing a Canadian shell for sale on it's own, maybe £20-£30. Depends how many people have got the liner to go in it.

Thanks! I'm going to use its liner to refurb a canadian navy helmet I'm restoring.
