Hi thank you for that as I have not a clue just found them in dads garage and put them on eBay for 9.99 and now its £225 then someone said it was a fake so was a little worried

got an email from him last night basically saying that I have removed the date to make more money in the first email he seems to think that the date could be 1952
could send you the email
Take no notice of him Hans,these helmets were made in 1943/44 & are stamped in the way that yours is.
1950's HSAT were stamped in a totally different way as shown in pic, although this pic is on a late 40's DR helmet.
