    Hi guys

I recently acquired WWI Mk1 helmet. I assumed it to be British but I'm not so sure. It has a black strip around the helmet and insignia on the side. Please photos. Can anyone assist in identifying who used that insignia?

It's definitely a British MkI, the liner has seen better days, but it is almost 100 years old. I can't help with the insignia though, the black line around the shell is also an interesting addition.
