    Hope of interest, arrived today looks like previous owner had a close call. Looks to of had a heavy impact leaving a nasty furrow / dent to the top. Causing the bumper pad on the inside to buckle up. Also to the front is a painted horse or lion. And to finish off is an early net that has been attached to the chin strap.

    Many thanks SMP. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what I think is a lion . A keeper for me as a rather interesting lid.

    Thanks guys for the thoughts, may stay as a bit of an enigma. Makes a nice gap filler on the shelf though.
