New helmet jcs&w 1939

Hi a few pics for of my new helmet, the liner is JCS&W 1939 dated and the shell is dated on the strap lugs 1939. The woven net is a rather faded on the outside but not to fragile.

Is that a camo under that nice woven net, looks to be at least two colours.

It's dark brown base paint that has been over painted khaki green , the green in is very patchy so not sure if camo or just very worn.

Thanks guys for the for taking a look and the leaving comments. Gone are the days when you could pick these up for a couple of quid at your local jumble sale, I've still got my first helmet that I picked up in the early 80's from a local summer fate .
