Picked up another District 20 on a trip to Cardiff yesterday. It is missing the NFS decal, only having the oval district decal......but does have a painted over AFS on the other end (front or back?).

The shell is by WD (William Dobson, a first for me to own) dated 1938 with batch lettering VH, liner is by VERO also 1938, it has some scratched out white painted initials/lettering underneath as well as a scratched in name F Packnell.

it was online but I know the seller and where he has his shop, I got a bit knocked off the price and He did not realise it was Cardiff district or notice the overpainted AFS, so a great helmet for me being from Cardiff and a good price IMO

What is the significance of the blue triangles on the side? I also have a district 20 NFS helmet but in poor shape.
