Nice eBay steal, early British mk2
Article about: Picked this up on eBay with a buy it now for \\$39, it's a early British mk2 with mk1 liner and early woven canadain camo net, helmet and liner is dated 1938 and are I. Great condition

Can you read any of the stamps on the shell ?

I can see a h and another letter and the date 1938 which is also stamped on the chin strap lug, the liner is soft not stiff so it was stored nicely, the seller didnt know what he had

Does it still have the original paint under the net ?
