    It has the same large steel chinstrap rivets, and nearly matching steel lot number, to the unmarked example i posted previously.
    These helmets were all purchased, pre-internet days, when you could find them in bins with lots of other similar helmets, in surplus stores, sports shops etc, the prices would be written directly on the helmet itself, in marker pen, or sometimes on a small tag.
    i am happy to hear any comments, good or bad.

    Looks like a nice camo, is the liner British.
    Also the strap looks to be late war Mk3A, or is it a New Zealand equivalent.

    Default Chinstraps

    Hello, the Chinstrap is an early version, with large D rings, and rubber bands, instead of springs.
    have included a photo next to a typical Australian Chinstrap so you can see the differences.
