So in this case these do turn up now and then, in pretty different places... It is really easy to spot these as fakes, but since it all comes with a little bit of more or less experience, it seems possible that people may fall for these... I hope that it wasn't bought for an insane price.
Are there any photos of the British/Commonwealth helmet's liner available?

if these where in a museum as how they are subscribed to you than i have my heavy doubts about the museum..How can they not identify a bulgarian helmet as a bulgarian helmet..? Also the m1 helmet liner is post war.
Indeed - for a quality museum display, I think I'd find
some others. These are in very poor condition.........
