RAC 1940 helmet

Here's a pin head sized (good enough for display don't think I'd be driving around in the car with this anyway)) RAC helmet for your pleasure. Very similar to the British miners helmets of the time
Pictures tell all.
Anybody else have an example to show?

Hi René, sadly I don't have one of these to share.

Your is a great example. These are not common to find. I saw one for sale earlier this year, dated 1941, at £175 complete with the microphone and headsets.

hehe it's the smallest head I have and the poor bugger usually gets a 18 pdr shell case rammed up the neck to lift it up for my other small sized head gear

They don't come in much better condition than your HCRAC, I think these little helmets are great & have a lot more character than the steel ones. Here's a few of mine.
