RAF Flying Helmet - Need Help

I'm guessing, but a mint set of MKVIII goggles $300/$350,
and a mint Type C helmet with phones and wiring
$350/$450. Condition is a factor.........

Based in your opinion, seems to me $500 for both in actual condition is a just price.

No goggles but seems cheaper because it is ebay i dont know if it original.

As Michael77 says, it's good to compare. They are not all that rare, really.

I think I paid $275 for my 'C' helmet and $85 for the goggles,
but it took me several years to put the two together
and I got lucky buying the goggles for so little.

Naturally, you'd like to get them for as little as possible.
Would your friend take an offer less than $500 ?

Very nice your C helmet and your googles seems near mint. But there is another think in your picture thats capturated my attention too. I'm plastic modeller too and I have made a P-51 with the same Bodney markings as yours, here is it:

Hi RR it is a early Type C helmet. I would'nt pay anymore than $200 as the leather is very worn ,the wire looms and plug are missing as are the earphone covers.

You may have to look/order on-line. I think it is a 'SplitS' production.

The P-51D Mustang is my all-time favorite allied aircraft of WWII.
That one is a die-cast 'Matchbox' 1/35th scale. The 352nd's
Lt. Col. John C. Meyer's plane.

I do have a larger P-51 model which I built about 14 years ago.
It has the markings of the 357th out of Leiston, England
in WWII - 'The Yoxford Boys' - Chuck Yeager, Leonard
'Kit' Carson, Clarence 'Bud' Anderson, but to name
a few, were in this Fighter Group.
