Sometimes you get a good surprise!
Right, so I bought this lid which was listed as a "WW2 British Raw Edge", the pictures of the liner were fairly fuzzy so I couldn't make it out exactly but I could tell it looked genuine. It was going for cheap, so I took the plunge and it arrived today. To my utter surprise and excitement, it turned out not to be a British raw edge, but an nPz helmet (different from my other thread, this was just so surprising to me so I felt like sharing) so I have accidentally managed to acquire a second, nPz helmet - happy days
Sometimes sellers will just make a mistake, or misidentify something and it can go wrong but sometimes it can turn out as a happy accident!
