South African MK2 1940 dated with camonetting and white liner?

Hello friends of british helmets
I bought this wonderful early MK2 with Camonet a week ago
It was green overpainted but inside the original early UDF colour is visible
The chinstraplugs seem to be bolted and not removeable
It seems to be hit by a Tank or something
I ve never seen a white liner on this helmets before
Is the camonetting authentic WW2 or postwar ?
The wearers name is also visible but unreadable
I am very thankful for all information and ideas to this helmet

Original sand colour underneath the repaint, the net looks to be an ww2 Canadian one.

The question is what makes a Canadian WW2 net on a UDF helmet
Canadian helmets are like australian brodies, unfindable in germany
Was it used by canadian troops after the north africa campain?
I have no idea
I am open for ideas

The net doesn't look original to the helmet, no net ghosting, the string that ties up the net doesn't look original.
So you have to decide whether you think the over paint is ww2 or post war,if that is olive drab, from 44 onward's well into the post war years.
Or has it been used/painted post war by another Country?
