Southport Water Board Helmet RP/W

As many of you would have seen last week on ebay, there was a MkII RP/W helmet, I acquired this helmet and was very pleased to find on the chin strap "SOUTHPORT WATER BOARD", the label was just visable in the sellers picture, but you could only see the Board part. I seem to remember another of these Southport marked helmets a year ago ?, which was marked "WATER". This is a very nice addition to the collection.

A lovely helmet, nice to see these Southport Water Board helmets have survived, let's hope there's a few more out there! Leon.
