    Helipaun, that looks like a Bundeswehr tankers beret in nice condition and i believe hard to come by nowadays

    While, as tinlid notes, the MKII HSRAC likely did not make it to the European theater during the period of hostilities, I think it is possible that they might have seen their way to Europe during the period of occupation. I have a MkII HSRAC from 1945 painted with a Polish Army in Exile eagle insignia. The eagle is of a late-war pattern that I am reasonably certain was used by members of the Polish 1st Armoured Division, which was de-mobilized in 1947.Tank crew helmets

    Nice looking lid, any chance of some more pics like inside. Also the colour looks to be the earlier lighter colour instead of the usual darker brown.
    Note also the quick release chin strap.
