Nice one Jerry, a standard grey W/FG helmet is fairly scarce so this one must be a proper "hens tooth"! Leon.
First white W FG I've seen, mostly they are grey with W/FG.

It came out of my friends long time collection which was full of pretty special home front lids. Sadly I missed the NFS district 20 (Cardiff) raw edge MKI* as it had already gone. It was the one I wanted but I had left it too long between visits and it had sold just this last week.
This W/FG is pretty special so I can cope with missing the other one, just.....

Brackets aren't common...and a lot rarer than the "/" - they were introduced in '42
......but not very interesting ......I'll be posting bus timetables next!
