Were any mk2's used during the Normandy landings?

Article about: Hi silly question but were any mk2's still in front line service prior to Normandy?or was the mk3 standardized by then,this Helmet being offered on ebay is being sold as "Heavy textured

    Adding the pics for posterity. It would be a stunning helmet if it is genuine, but from this seller I would be very very wary.

    perhaps he has an entire "wall O helmets lucky bloke.

    The problem with the 2nd one is that I cannot see any sign of original textured paint under the camo paint, can anyone?

    nope cant see anything,how does a seller with that much feedback selling items like this keep there 100%?
