Who have used this RAC helmet?
Article about: Hello Ive swapped a big amount of british WW2 and Belgian Postwarstuff against some US stuff and this helmet was inside It seem to be used in Falkland or as a Trainee helmet The wearers name

....these were used by vehicle crews and by naval staff (inc Royal Marines)...I'm sure other members will add to that list. They were used in the Falklands though I'm not sure how you can tell if this one was. The name is not a common one....someone cleverer than me may be able to find him (or her?) for you. As we know, the date on the Liner has no link to the helmet date...whatever that turns out to be.

the shell with the lift the dot liner is almost certainly post war in origin, though some are dated 1945 I think they did not see service until post war

But why not reissue the old shells and refit it with a new better liner
I had seen it on MK4s converted into Mk5 and Paras too
