    a little drive away, just happy to rediscover it and add it to the jigsaw of helmet flashes,

    Its a CL/C 1941 shell with VMC42 liner, appears to have remains of C arrow on the chinstrap and there seems to be Burlap remains under the top screw, but I don't want to take it apart, there is also paper stuck to the shell which seems to have been there before the camo paint, for what ever reason

    this is my RAMC helmet whit second blue square flash (is possible 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment?). Helmet is finded in Sicily.

    What a great and usefull Thread !!

    My contribution is a helmet I once owned several years ago.
    A MK II QUEENS helmet wich was left behind in Italy.
