That is a shame a nice wartime helmet with a replaced 49 liner,
and it,s in good condition to. Strange thread as the question and answer and seller and buyer all in one pop. nice helmet though.

It's a lovely lid mate! I was gutted when Jalabert informed me that it had a post war liner!

My mate has got the lid now. He's cleaned it up nicely, and replaced the liner.

That Canadian liner would go nice in a Korean war era shell...plenty around.

1941 Brodie Helmet - MK2

It's DPEC (unknown maker) while on the old thread they had it as DREO? Which is where the confusion with Canada came from, maybe Mark will throw some light on this.
But pretty sure it's an British liner.

Adding the above to save future confushion.
