W&LC is an unknown liner manufacturer, II is the type of liner, ie: MKII liner, and 1941 is the year of manufacture. It's not a "Brodie" helmet per-say, rather a the MKII is based on the Brodie.

what sort of value does an item like this have? the helmets paint is in rough shape and i believe original, it has the full liner and chin strap too, both in fairly rough shape.
W& LC made liners in 1941, but I don't know what the initials stand for. If you could post some pics that would help a lot with what you want to know.

It's been repainted, has the wrong nut & bolt, & the chin strap is broken. The only good thing about it is the liner, as for price,£15-£20, but on ebay you might get lucky & it'll go for £30+
cool thanks, think i bought it for 20$ canadian 10 years ago...
If you can look under the gobs of paint under the brim, you may find some stamped numbers/initials on it. Usually by the bales.
