You could be right, I always get those 2 mixed up, but not a WW2 British MkII.

For my own education, could you please give the specifics that help ID this lid as Belgium please? It differs significatly from my Belgium example although I am sure there may be other variations. My example does not have the recessed fastener point, in the crown and it is also my understanding that all the Belgium helmets were issed with the tri-color decal. There are a couple of other countries that used brown color liners in their Brodie clone, with out knowing the mfr stamping, it's pretty hard to tell one from the other. I'm always looking to get more educated on these lids.
