Was this style of camouflage ever used or is just 'painter's' own artistic impression?

They're down right crooks. I get angry just looking at the pieces they embellish (I think it's worse than selling an out right fake). I can't believe they've got 100% feedback, unfortunately it shows there is a lot of gullible people out there (probably taken in by the genuine stuff they sell)
