    And lastly a late war 1945 dated Armoured or Commando black beret, the quality of this beret isnt up to scratch compared to the other two I posted It would be an economy model, Its much the same quality as modern berets.

    Gday,
    The computer's been up and running at full warp today, you ripper,I hope it lasts.

    Wow, very nice berets you guys have posted! Thanks for all the helpful information. So, late 50's or early 60's is the impression I have as for the style beret I own. I am starting to get into the allied forces history of ww2. My buddy just got a Digger hat with the side brim snapped up. I rather like those. Well, G'day to ya , mates down unda!
