    G'day Gents,
Not to sure re this Pug.Looks 1930's or earlier and my even be NZ but I could be way off the mark.It appears to have the old wool Pug under this flashy number.I think it's a add on but not certain. It's heading my way ex USA for a cool $103.00 Au.
Hat looks like a good "Dunkerley" Akubra.

Going by the liner consistency looks late war? I'm no expert, great score Dave. You'll find out when you can inspect the button

    G'day Rene,
    How's things mate.All good I hope.
It's a Carr Aust press stud, First question I asked the seller.
I feel the Fur Felt is good but the "flashy" pug has me buggered. It looks a tad "Kiwi' in construction and my be a add on. The cloth behind it interests me greatly I must say.
It may be the remains of an old wool early war pug. on a later build slouch.
I will know in 2 weeks.
    Cheers for the reply cobber
    Dave

update.... The Pug may be Australian Army Ordnance Corps 1918-1922. Still not 100% on that but.

Without a year or broad arrow then its not a government contract job I think. Especially as the company names were coded for late war. Just my thoughts.

    Hi Gents,
Here's that "Dunkerley" slouch again. There was an old wool Pug under the mystery number.

It appears to have an old stamp on the inside of the liner but it's totally illegible. This one is a fair bit thicker and more weighty in construction to my other examples.

    And a V235 1944 size 6 1/2

A bit moth nipped but a nice complete dated number non the less.

Any more ideas on the "Dunkerley" would be appreciated gents.
    Cheers for looking
