Belgian wartime officers cap?

Article about: I've got a reply from this collector: The date of such Peaked caps is quite difficult. Wartime and pre wartime peaked caps usually had a coloured band below the rim, but beware also post-war

    Question Belgian wartime officers cap?

I have done some research but the results were inconclusive. There is an emblem missing at the front and it has left a vague impression of what looks like a christian cross.
Hope you guys can help me out.

The equivalent British cap would be dated pre or early WWII by the form of the peak. Perhaps the buttons might help enlighten its history.

I assume that is the local equivalent of a general service button and does not help. Have you tried researching the maker and their address?

I think your cap is pre war, probably 1950-1970 and was worn by soldiers and NCO's in my humble opinion.
Like you said, there was also an emblem/sign on front of it witch indicated the army unit you were in.
