Can anyone ID this Hat and Badge?
I received it as part of a large collection of British, Canadian and European hats. The hat is made in London and is marked 1964 inside the hatband. It has an unusual oak leaf and acorn badge (marked made in Birmingham) and attaches with a clip that slips inside the hat. The color is a cardinal red, not the bright red of the Military Police.

Yes, South Nottinghamshire Hussars. Originally a yeomanry regiment, but since the 1930s have been part of the Royal Artillery

Thanks so much, I have been searching for about two months, even asking visiting Brits without any success, and you answered my question in 10 minutes. Hip, Hip, Hooray!
