The North Irish horse came from a boot sale, along with the shoulder straps, the Loyal North Lancashire came from a friend, he said it was his grandfathers from WWI and the Royal Fusiliers came from a boot sale.

One of my favorites. The unit have a very interesting history in WWII, seeing action in North Africa and Italy, and Recently I did some research and discovered when they served in North Africa, they the first unit to destroy a Tiger tank -in tank to tank action- and in Italy they were the first unit from the Western allies to destroy a Panther (according to the regimental history). So the tropical captains tankers SB's might have been for the same man?

That King's Own cap badge has to be a rare one.
The problem with any commonwealth cap badge is that they are often found as restrikes, from the original dies and as outright copies. It can be difficult to tell which is real and which is fake and I cannot say with 100% certainty into which category this example would fall. Maybe an expert could offer an opinion?
