British RAF side cap

Hi, im looking to get this side cap.
Its a wool example, can i have some opinions on it and its badges?

What colour is it? It looks fine but I would expect it to be blue, though the RFC used khaki side caps during their existence. It looks blue on the inside and has the holes for mounting the badge with the latter being typical for RAF side caps and which is not seen on army caps. I have to admit that air force and for that matter navy are not really my thing.

To my eyes it appears to be a brownish blue.
Inside in indeed blue.

It is a good original, just a bit faded I think. The maker is know for RAF caps.

It has finally arrived.
The seller is fast in sending but delivery service (GLS) is really bad.
It only arrived today. Almost two weeks from the UK..
Anyway, its a faded blue, cant see any dates.

It looks good, try gently wetting the lining in the area of the makers mark and the date might appear.
