Here's one that locally fell my way yesterday! I haven't ever seen one before and know nothing about! I guess these could have been issued during the Korean conflict. Interesting it has KC buttons, last of an era. Officer issue? and did these have insignia?

HI Rene I have some more info on these caps on file on my laptop and will get back to you in the morning.
What I do know off the top of my head though is that the cap peak winter came into service in 1950 and was normally worn with the battle dress in cold weather.

Yes, regular issue. I can't remember how long these
were used, but I know they were not popular.
