Dutch cap and beret: real?

I recently got these. I was wondering if they are real.

I am not very familiar with dutch items, the cap looks post war in shape and has an unusual chinstrap, though could be early war, I could not say, the Beret is Canadian made hard to say with either when the badges were put on them but both look OK and appear to have been on them for some time.

Both items are post-war. The cap and beret are not in the style of pre-war items that usually date back to WW1. These items were usually donated after the war by allied countries and decorated with Dutch emblems. They're post 1945 used. The beret, also, is a great example of a 'donated' item.

Does the first cap badge have folding prongs like the badge shown here? In that case it is a post-war Dutch made badge.
