    Default French Kepis

    Hello Mates,

Picked these up at a military show. I have barely an idea on what they are apart from that they are French and are amazing quality. The lightblue one is postwar but the rest I think are ww2 or before. I would love some idea on what they are. Two of the caps were made in Paris.

Don't quote me on this, I'm no expert.

I would say the kepi with the red top is a ww1 officer, either infantry or air force (both wore similar kepi's). I have 2 like this and they are both ww1 infantry lieutenant's. And I would say the black one is ww1 Artillery as well.
I'm getting one just like it which is identified to a ww1 artillery officer. I can get you pictures if you want. Again, I'm not 100% positive but I do know that ww2 kepi's are taller than ww1 (with some acceptions of course).

No, not artillery, as they had an all black kepi, with gold braid for an officer. The photo is very dark, but assuming the braid is gold, it's likely an infantry officer's post WWI. If silver braid, it's for dragoons.
