    Thanks. Seller was real helpful. Since I explainted I wanted to start collecting alleid headgear along my german headgear. He gave extensive explenation on all details on caps. Am glad to se he was geniune by you opinions so far. About the liner he told me that it was proboably sewn in by the owner. Made from parashute. But he could be 100% sure

    Nice looking cap. The liner looks to be the wrong type of fabric to be parachute from the pics, they were a satin or silk like fabric whilst this looks more like cotton.

    The badge is a nice British made example - generally
    not made of Sterling silver.........

    It is an enlisted engineers cap with officers insignia on it.
