Glengarry cap

Article about: I have the opportunity to buy this Glengarry cap. But unfortunately there are no stamps on the inside. Anyone concur it has the WWII era look?

    I have the opportunity to buy this Glengarry cap. But unfortunately there are no stamps on the inside. Anyone concur it has the WWII era look?

    It could date from any time between circa 1915 and the 1970's, and these can be very hard to date accurately, but certainly it stands a good chance of being circa WWII. What colour is it, dark green or blueish black?

    There's nothing like a severed head sporting a Glengarry for the holiday spirit! LOL~~~~ Agree with Jerry on these, they can be miserable to pigeon hole.

    Haha I agree Nigel, these heads aren't cheap too..but sure add character.

    Sadly mate the inside pictures do not show the liner in enough detail to comment with 100% certainty on the fabric used, but I think post WWII is likely for this example.
