Grenadier Guards officer's service dress visor cap
Article about: One i have been looking for for some time, a Grenadier Guards officer's khaki service dress cap. This one has GeoVI side buttons, and was made, as virtually all pre 1953 guards officer caps

Very nice example Bob! I have a Herbert Johnson example dating to the early 1950s which looks similar. SD caps by Edward Smith seem quite uncommon.

I have a WWII era Irish Guards officer's dress forage cap, also made by Smith, and a Welsh Guards khaki service dress cap of thr same era made by Smith as well.

Your have some fantastic caps! I am jealous. Here is my example btw.
Thanks much; I bought my first cap, for an officer of the Queen's Own Hussars, at Herbert Johnson's shop in London, in 1976. Me, a callow and
nervous Yank ; I still have it.
