Help Identifying makers label
I found this brigadiers cap at a nearby military antique store. The owner believes it’s WW2 but the makers label for Hobson&Sons seems wrong. I’ve seen the pith helmets and pillbox hats have cloth Hobson&Sons labels but he is convinced it is WW2 and not post. He thinks they would have had multiple makers labels. The cap badge and buttons are correct for the time. Does anyone know if this is WW2 or Post? The grommets also have me questioning as I haven’t seen them on other wartime visor caps

It is an uncommon versiob but I have seen it previously and is possibly early. Nearly all wwii uk sd caps have grommets.

Jerry
