    hi, it is british WW2 naval fleet air arm first pattern 'C' type flying helmet. a nice one also, not rare but not common.

    I bielive it's a british RAF flying helmet, ww2. Its not my field ( and I am about to go to bed) but I think it's a type c.

    hi, Ade - you are a little high. Prices for RAF kit have softened.This is missing the loom, receivers and ear cup cushions. I'd say it was more in the 125-140 pounds range.

    Thanks guy's it still has the rubber inserts in the ear covers is this the "cushions" you mean aster?
