Help. Unknown visor cap..Maybe British??

I picked up this hat for $4 a few weeks ago and I am thinking it is British. But not sure.
Any collectors that can give me a hand on this one?
Country, branch or and year?

Its a German Fire Hat with what seems to be an out of place English name in it.

Yes, I would say it was a west German fireman's cap, probably 1960's or 1970's.

Cool. Thanks everyone. Something in the back of my mind was saying fire dept. or maybe arty.
But I guess for a few bucks not a bad deal. I need to find the correct badge for it now.
