Indeed, only the second example I remember seeing for sale in recent years and much rarer than most of items of headgear you see on forums, though obviously an item of little interest to most.

Where the hell do you find all this lot Jerry?
It seems that everytime that I scan the forums you have posted some new head-dress or cap-badge on it and all good quality stuff!!
All joking aside mate, another cracking piece.

Hi Ian,
I have certainly had a good run of luck in finding headgear lately and this one is probably the one I am most pleased with. This one came from the US via Ebay and was a buy it now at a very sensible price IMHO.

Here's hoping that your "lucky streak" continues mate.
I recently dropped on a British 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division, the "Polar Bear Division", shoulder flash.
Not sure if it's a WWII or post war version, (the division was still active up to the mid-1960's with the same shoulder flash) and at £2, I'm not complaining either way, especially when I paid a tenner the week before for a current Yorkshire Regiment cap badge.

Re: KSLI officer cadet coloured FS cap
£2 for a polar bear has got to be a good price and still one I have yet to add to my British cloth badges collection, though plastic badges and soft headgear are my main focus at this time, but at some stage I will be hunting for as many cloth formation signs as possible, maybe first focusing on the units that served with the 8th Army in WWII.
