Hi, well I found the book Janes fighting ships 2010-2011 and the Irish fleet was at that time of the size of 8 military ships and none of them had the name Eire, the oldest of these ships is from the early 80s, so Eire must be older than that I quess.

The cap tally doesn't represent any ship in particular. It's a generic title, "Éire" meaning "Ireland".
