Visor caps for British officers of the old Indian Army are hard to come by, at least in my experience. I happened upon this salty cap for an officer of the 14th Punjab Regt. at this year's SOS.
Made by a tailor in Madras ( quite a haul from the Punjab!), it gives evidence of heavy wear. The interior is actually lined with leather on the crown. This cap was definitely worn extensively, which adds to it's allure, IMHO.
