RAF Transport Commnd Officers cap

Article about: Evening chaps, Paid through the old nose again, but her is a nice Transport Command cap made in Montreal ( Douvel air base), it is a bit rough , but all in order with the "thicker"

    Evening gents, after a bit of research I have come to the conclusion that the RAFTC cap badge should not be on this cap! A nice period badge and a nice period cap, but I now feel that the cap in the picture above is not an RAF issue one as I cannot find any other examples. Also a fellow RAFTC collector has pointed out to me that he has not seen this combination either, so I have removed the badge and will put it on a US tan cap that belongs with the above tan uniform, as it's bullion badge was removed and missing. Leon.
