    A great cap Jerry, and indeed a bargain! I was tempted myself with this but my will power won over unfortunately. It could be a Flights Ltd cap from the lining colour and outline of the makers label.

    I hesitated about it but I could not resist the gilt badge and the price was very sensible for a wartime example, though the badge might not have been introduced until 47-49 but would pre date 53. Did you see the earlier RA Territorial Force officers cap I picked up? Royal Artillery (Territorial Force) officers forage cap 1908-1917
