Hi again, In support of this thread, I am going to list a selection of cap "Labels" for manufacturers and suppliers etc. This is to help ID caps and and what caps have turned up supplied or manufactured by whom for reference etc. The list only comprises caps from my own collection and is therefore not definitive but only a guide to assist. Please let me know if it is of use or interest. If so I will continue through the alphabet. Cheers MR

Hi All, Continueing with the Manufacturer's logos and other labels and stampings etc., the manufacturer BANCROFT appear to have or have used the largest selection of logos and logo variation. These detailed below are those that I have come accross to date. I have no doubt that this selection is not definitive. I hope that you find them of interest.

Bancroft, it would appear, manufacture caps for wear by all branches of the US Military as well as the USPHS and USCG. A number of their caps carry both a label and a stamping on the sweat bands.

Useful to the makers makers Michael. A very informative thread for those interested in such headgear. Is it possible to add dating/chronology of the caps and the makers?
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.
