Unknown visor cap ?

Hello !
I just won this cap and after searching for 2 days on the net i could not find anything similar to it .The seller stated that it's a French ww2 era visor cap .The cap badge is unknown to me hopefully somebody will shed light on this mystery for me

I think it is a school or collegiate bandsmans cap.

Are there any marks on the back of the badge,
and do the chinstrap buttons have
anything on them.........?

Steve i dont have it in hand yet according to him the button have the same detail as the cap badge . Thanks for your help as soon as i have it i will be able to answer your Q it looks like russian design high on the top .

i got the cap today and tried to take some pics of it and the chinstrap button have the same torche as the cap badge . The inside has some marking but can't make nothing of them maybe some of our member from France could tell us what is written . Behind the cap badge is written AMCA-PARIS.

If I remember correctly it is Paris auxillary police.
