I have an identical one and knew the man who wore it,and he was in 1948-9. Like I said,they didn't change much at all for over 2 decades. William

Yep Pwny but it looks differnt I had a post on these but it has been lost I never could get a answer on the difference of post war construction so I guess im still unclear my self.

Amazing how German stuff is clear cut in many cases. Well, they did kinda lose their military after the war.
