US Navy Officer's Cap

Article about: A recent purchase, and I'm pretty sure it's from the 1960's or 70's - possibly even later - but still a nice looking cap IMO. Photos are from the seller..........

    Nice, big and round......... !

Received yesterday afternoon. Has a plastic liner and is somewhat
misshapen due to being squashed in shipping. Display on the
headform for a while will straighten it out. It's a Bancroft
    'Zephyr' with insignia by Gemsco.

Looks like it was misshaped already beforehand. Looks great though, and I'd like one in my lot no mater what period. Cheers Steve

Hi Rene. I've fiddled a bit already - the 'stiffening band'
inside the cover was wonky, so I spun it around to
make the material appear 'equal' on both sides.
    Overall pretty happy with it.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
